Invented in the 1930s by a Chinese-Thai chef, this dish of thin rice noodles stir-fried with egg, tofu and shrimp, and seasoned with fish sauce, sugar, tamarind, vinegar and dried chilli has subsequently reigned as the poster boy for Thai cuisine.

The farm has three simply furnished rooms, each with a private bath, mosquito net and fan.
The guesthouse has a comfortable veranda with fine teak furniture and a open palm leaf house by the river where you can sit and relax and enjoy the rural calm of Datofarm. With only three guestrooms the guesthouse is never crowded making you feel more like one of the family as opposed to an anonymous guest.
The rooms have a large bed, wardrobe or shelving, a small table and seats.
